In the fourth quarter of 2020, France's wellness app sector saw varied performance among the top contenders. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these apps on a unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android data.

Starting with Petit BamBou: Mindfulness, the app experienced a decrease in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $79K in late September and dropping to around $60K by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, from roughly 25K to 23K in the same period. Weekly active users also saw a decline from 166K to 129K.

Calm showed a peak in revenue in mid-October at about $47K, which then fell to around $26K by the year's end. The app's downloads reached a high of 39K in mid-October before decreasing to 24K in the last week of December. Active users spiked at 115K in mid-October, followed by a dip to 106K at the close of the quarter.

Meditopia: AI, Meditation saw its revenue fluctuate, with an initial $14K, a mid-quarter rise to nearly $17K, and closing the quarter around the same figure. Downloads for the app were highest in mid-November at over 20K, but ended the quarter at 11K. The weekly active users showcased growth from 51K to over 60K throughout the quarter.

Headspace: Sleep & Meditation had its revenue hover around $10K for most of the quarter, with a slight increase to $12K by the end of December. Download numbers peaked at over 16K in mid-October, then stabilized to around 7K by the year's end. Active user counts saw a significant rise from 49K to 63K in the same timeframe.

Lastly, Sleep Cycle - Sleep Tracker showed a revenue increase from $7.5K to nearly $11K during the quarter. Downloads had a notable spike to 24K in early October but then decreased to 5.5K by December. Weekly active users experienced an upward trajectory, starting at 92K and reaching over 102K by the quarter's end.
